Arabic Poetry night This year ISC DIP held its second annual Arabic Poetry night during the cool evening of Thursday March 8. The night presented students with opportunity to demonstrate their Arabic heritage through poetry. Their recitation included works from the great poets such as Nizar Qabbani and Mahmoud Darwish. With great passion and clear articulation the students exhibited their ability in this traditional custom. Poetry has such a rich and meaningful history, to see it brought to life with the facial expressions and sincerity of the orators brought great applause from the audience. Attendees were honored to witness our students portray their culture and represent their native language with admiration. We already await next year to feel the spirit that has yet to dissipate.
