PE News T1 week 12 1617

This past weekend has been one of excitement and anticipation. 24 students ranging from grades 5 to 11 took part in the regional trials. This year the biannual Regional competition will take place in Oman and students from 10 Choueifat schools were eager to secure a place. Our boys and girls took part in swimming and athletics at both u12 and u16 level at the event in ISC Sharjah. We are pleased to announce that JakeGray of grade 11 secured a bronze medal in the u16 400m athletics. Youssef Ibrahim of grade 8 came home with silver in the u16 50m swim. The star of the day however was our grade 5 student, Malek El Sweifi. Malek won her heat, semi final and final taking away the gold medal in the u12 60m sprint, securing her place in the regional tournament. Congratulations to all students and coaches for all their effort over the past few months.
