PE News T1 Week 7 1617

This weekend our girls’ u15 Netball team travelled to Abu Dhabi to compete in an Inter Choueifat competition. This group of girls has been training together for 3 years and they eagerly anticipate this competition each year. The squad of 12 girls was chosen at the beginning of term and they have been training twice a week in preparation. They displayed excellent character and sportsmanship on Saturday and did extremely well to win third place. Well done girls!

Last Thursday evening also saw our senior boys’ basketball team take on the teachers for the fifth time. Both teams had welcome additions this year which made for an exciting contest. Although the teachers clinched the win, our students have shown much improvement and are looking forward to even more training in the run up to this years regional trial.
