PE News T3 Week 4 1617

Congratulations to our junior girls swimming team who competed in the annual Inter-Choueifat swimming gala last weekend, April 29^th 2017. Our team of 26 students, our biggest yet, travelled to Sharjah with their coach Ms. Orla. We competed rigorously in u9, u10, u11, and u12 age groups, coming out with 12 medals and achievement awards.

Huge congratulations to Salwa Bittar and Lily Hamouda, both in grade 5, for breaking Choueifat records! Lily swam the 50m breaststroke in a time of 51.22 seconds, while Salwa broke the 50m freestyle record with an impressive 41.1 seconds. It was an absolute joy to watch all of our students cheering each other on and creating an energetic and united atmosphere.

This coming weekend, it is our junior boys swim team turn. We are sure they will do us just as proud.
